Hello and welcome!

 

My name is Erin, and I love writing stories! I am an avid reader, writer, knitter, and make - believer. I am  a collector of stories, wishes, buttons, smelly stickers, and erasers shaped like tiny furniture.

 

My favorite colors ( if I had to pick just two) are bright pumpkin orange( especially because my birthday is in October!) and sparkly Christmas blue.

 

Some of my favorite authors include: Catherynne Valente, Kate Di Camillo, Robert Munsch, Ruth Ohi, Lewis Carroll, J.K. Rawling, and C.S Lewis just to name a few - but my list is endless!

 

I was born in Halifax, N.S. ( Where I currently live), and I grew up in Summerside, P.E.I.

 

My first childrens' book  "Gus the Tortoise Takes a Walk"- illustrated by Richard Rudnicki, was released by Nimbus Publishing, in the spring of 2012,  and my work has also appeared in " Write" magazine. My current projects include a spooktacular series for early readers as well as a Y/A novel.
